Newburyport Bank Donates $1,000 To The Housing Partnership

Newburyport Bank has donated $1,000 to The Housing Partnership of Portsmouth, NH. While the Bank is typically a sponsor of The Housing Partnership’s annual fundraiser known as the Capital Steps at The Music Hall, that major event has been cancelled this year due to the pandemic.

Core clients of The Housing Partnership are primarily low-income households, a group that has suffered greatly from the financial and social aspects of COVID. Because of that, the organization faces a serious budget shortfall.

“We are keenly aware of those non-profit organizations struggling due to the pandemic,” said Lloyd L. Hamm, President & CEO of the Bank. “As we have been in the past,” he added, “we’re still committed to the needs of The Housing Partnership and we expect to continue our support moving forward.”
