Newly Remodeled Winn-Dixie Unveiled In Temple Terrace

TEMPLE TERRACE, FL — Winn-Dixie officially unveiled its newly remodeled Temple Terrace Winn-Dixie store and updated liquor store at 8837 N. 56th Street in Temple Terrace.

In celebration of the new store and to give back to and support the local heroes who protect the community every day, Winn-Dixie presented a $1,000 donation to Temple Terrace Fire Department.

Last year, Winn-Dixie gathered feedback directly from customers and associates to transform the Temple Terrace store into a shopping destination that is both convenient and improves the community's aesthetics.

The refreshed store now offers an updated liquor store, as well as an enhanced produce department, a new Dollar Shop within the store and additional offerings.

With fresh concepts and features, the new and improved Temple Terrace Winn-Dixie now includes:

  • New façade signage and a fresh, contemporary color palette and modern store signage inside.

  • Updated produce department featuring an expanded selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, including organic varieties, and convenient grab-and-go fresh selections.

  • An improved deli with expanded offerings, including an assortment of easy lunch and dinner options including a hot bar with rotisserie chicken, wing bar with several flavor varieties, as well as prepared sandwiches and salads.

  • Expanded bakery department with new self-service doughnuts.

  • Refreshed meat department offering a wide selection of fresh meats including premium Angus beef selections.

  • Expanded full-service seafood department offering shoppers a variety of fresh seafood on ice, additional frozen seafood assortments, as well as the “Seafood Made Easy” option where customers can choose the type of seafood, vegetables and seasoning to be packaged together for easy preparation at home.

  • Updated health and beauty section with expanded offerings.

  • An in-store pharmacy with expert pharmacists available to answer any questions regarding health and prescriptions and a consultation area for comfortable, private immunizations, including the COVID-19 vaccine.

  • Updated floral department to help customers find a bouquet for any occasion.

  • New Dollar Shop section with hundreds of items to provide customers with the convenient items they look for at low prices.

  • Updated liquor store with a price-match guarantee on a wide selection of spirits, as well as beer and wine offerings within the liquor store and main store.

  • Expanded grocery selection with additional products and assortments.

The improved Temple Terrace store is open seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., and the updated liquor store is open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
