Newly renovated Best Western Hotel now open in York County

YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — A new Best Western Hotel recently opened its doors in York County after completing a multi-million-dollar renovation.

The new Best Western Plus Heritage Rail Inn & Suites recently opened its doors on 140 Leader Heights Road in York, back on Friday, February 2. According to Best Western, this new hotel property recently completed a comprehensive renovation that is valued at $3 million.

This new hotel features 73 guestrooms along with 55 suites for guests to choose from. As part of the recent renovations, this hotel boasts refreshed guestrooms and amenities, along with railway-themed artwork and a unique railroad-inspired design.

Additionally, the new hotel offers a 24-hour state-of-the-art fitness center, a business center, a meeting room, and a seasonal outdoor pool. According to Best Western, the new location will also have complimentary hot breakfasts for guests to enjoy.

Shah, Co-Owner of the Best Western Plus Heritage Rail Inn & Suites said. “The redesigned property pays homage to the rich history of York, Pennsylvania, while also providing the modern comforts and conveniences for which the Best Western brand is known.”

Moving forward, Best Western says that the hotel will soon debut a new lobby bar, which will be called The Heritage Rail Tavern. According to Shah, the bar is expected to open in the next month or two.
