Newport News police investigating after man found dead with multiple injuries
A man was found dead inside a Newport News home over the weekend, and police said they now believe his death was a homicide.
At 4:21 p.m. Sunday, the Newport News Police Department was called to the first block of Buxton Avenue.
Officers responded found 64-year-old Craig Shacklee dead inside the home, according to a news release.
As police investigated, they found Shacklee had multiple injuries. The cause of his injuries has not been released.
