News briefs: Adena Mansion and Gardens to open April 5

CHILLICOTHE – Adena Mansion and Gardens Historic Site will open Wednesday, April 5 for the 2023 season. Come visit the site from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays. Admission for adults 13-59 $12, seniors 60+ $11, children 6-12 $6, and children 5 and under get in for free. For more information, please call (740) 772-1500 or email us at info@adenamansion.com.

Red Cross blood drives

April is National Volunteer Month. The Red Cross depends on the generosity of volunteers to ensure blood products are available when patients need them. You can encourage others to volunteer with you as a blood donor during National Volunteer month.

For drives APRIL 1-23: Together with PEANUTS®, we’ll remind donors to put kindness into action, and that it’s cool to be kind and help save lives. All who come to give April 1-23 will receive an EXCLUSIVE Red Cross and PEANUTS Joe Cool T-shirt, while supplies last.

Frankfort Community – Masonic Lodge located at 23 W Springfield Street, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 1.

Meetings

The Ross County Agricultural Society will hold a special meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 29 at the Ross County Fairgrounds. A regular meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, April 3 at the fairgrounds.
