Clyde to hold Arbor Day ceremony

CLYDE - The City of Clyde will hold an Arbor Day celebration at 11 a.m. April 28 along the bike trail next to the Municipal Building (heading toward the east end of town). A tree has been planted on the north side of the depot. Plans are to gather around the tree while Vice Mayor Scott Black reads the Arbor Day proclamation.

Anniversary event to benefit Humane Society of Ottawa County

PORT CLINTON - In celebration of Ciao Bella Ristorante Italiano's 10th anniversary, the business and is holding a spaghetti dinner to benefit the Humane Society of Ottawa County. The dinner will be noon-4 p.m. Sunday. Dine in and carryout dinners will be available. Ciao Bella is located at 3880 E. Harbor Light Landing.

Pigeon Show is April 15

FREMONT - The annual Fremont Pigeon Club Show and Shop will be held beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday at the Sandusky County Fairgrounds, 901 Rawson Ave. Admission is free. For more information call 419-483-3484.

Stars Dancing for CASA set for April 15 at Terra

FREMONT - CASA of Seneca, Sandusky and Wyandot counties will present its 11th annual Sandusky County Stars Dancing for CASA fundraiser at 7 p.m. Saturday at The SAC at Terra State Community College, 2830 Napoleon Road, Building C. Tickets are $35. For ticket information call 419-335-1442.

MS walk slated for May 13

FREMONT - The fourth annual MS Walk will be held May 13 in Connor Park, 2300 Morrison Road. Start time is 11 a.m. A proclamation will be presented by Fremont Mayor Danny Sanchez.

Sponsors are Katura Recovery, Crown Battery, Phaze 1 Screenprinting, Forced Blue D.J. Entertainment, Bay Trophy, Fremont Community Theater, Sabroske Electric, VFW Fremont Post and The Bean and Things foodtruck.

Door Prizes will be presented and participants may walk anytime until 4 p.m.  Meet at the rear shelter house area at 10:30 a.m. for registration. Participants may walk as an individual or as a team.
