Magruder Speech Therapy offers youth speech summer groups
PORT CLINTON − The Magruder Speech Therapy Department is offering summer groups for pre-school age children (4-6 years old) to help with speech, language and social skills. The groups will meet Tuesday mornings from June 13 to July 25. There are two sessions to choose from − 9-10:15 a.m. or 10:30-11:45 a.m. The sessions will be led by Magruder Speech-Language pathologists Brianna Missler and Katie Brink, and will be held at the Magruder Hospital Lake Erie Sports Medicine Department.
Call the Lake Erie Sports Medicine Department at 419-732-4033 to secure a child’s spot. Reservations and a physician referral are required. An individual evaluation will be completed before the sessions to discuss goals and answer billing and benefits questions.

FREMONT − Fremont Ohio Pride will present its second annual Queer Prom April 29. Join Fremont Ohio Pride at MoonShine Nightclub's Upper Level for a private party.
Enjoy appetizers and mocktail sangrias. There will be DRAG performers.
This is a dry event for prom-goers ages 14-20. Guests 21 and over are welcome at the bar downstairs, however, no alcohol is allowed in the Upper Level. Tickets are $25 per individual or $40 a couple. Open to community members 14 and older. After Party is at Da Love Pitt following prom.]
Pinochle club announces March winners
FREMONT - The Pinochle Card Club announced its winners for March. First place went to Suann Cunningham and Jean Foos with 751. Second place went to Jeanette Setzler and Rosie Lonsway with 732.
Rocky Ridge Road to be closed Thursday, Friday
OAK HARBOR - The Ottawa County Engineer's Office hired SME to perform oil borings on Rocky Ridge Road at Toussaint Creek Bridge, which will require the road to be closed between True Road and Toussaint North Road Thursday and Friday.
