Municipal Court closed for MLK Day

FREMONT — Fremont Municipal Court will be closed Monday, Jan. 17, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Arraignments will be held at 9 a.m. Jan. 18 for those who are incarcerated.

Any muni court filing that is required may be made on Jan. 18 and shall be considered timely.

Mental health board sets meetings

TIFFIN — The Mental Health and Recovery Services Board of Seneca, Ottawa, Sandusky and Wyandot Counties has scheduled its January meetings. The Administrative and Program Committee Meetings will be held at the board office, 1200 N. Ohio 53, Tiffin, and the January Board Meeting will be held at North Central Ohio Educational Service Center (NCOESC), located at 928 W. Market St., Tiffin.

The Administrative Committee Meeting will be 4:30 p.m. Jan. 18 and Program Committee Meeting will be 4:30 p.m. Jan. 19.

The board meeting will be 4:30 p.m. Jan. 27. For more information call 419-448-0640.

Tickets on sale now for After Prom dinner fundraiser

PORT CLINTON — Tickets are on sale now for the Port Clinton High School After Prom Chicken Dinner set for 2 to 6:30 p.m. Feb. 5.

Cost is $12 and includes chicken, potato, green beans, roll and beverage prepared by Bar-B-Que Traveler. Drive-thru is available in front of PCHS or join dine-in at the PCHS cafeteria.

Tickets are on sale now at Mary’s Blossom Shoppe, PCHS Main Office or from PCHS DECA students. Advance ticket purchase is encouraged. Proceeds will help fund the PCHS After Prom activities for 2022.

In case of inclement weather, the dinner will be moved to 4 to 7 p.m. Feb. 18. If the PCHS games are canceled, the dinner will be canceled. Details will also be posted on www.pccsd.net under the news or facebook.com/portclintonschools and on the district mobile app.

St. Joseph boosters to hold Super Bowl breakfast

FREMONT — The St. Joseph Central Catholic Booster Club will hold its Super Bowl Breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon Feb. 13 at the high school cafeteria, 702 Croghan St. Carryouts are available. Breakfast includes pancake, eggs and sausage, all you can eat.

Cost is $8 for adults and $5 for children.
