US 20 ramps closed, US 6 has lane restrictions

BOWLING GREEN — The Ohio Department of Transportation announced that the Eastbound U.S. 20 ramp to U.S. 6 westbound and southbound will be closed starting this week through mid August. The detour will be State Street to Oak Harbor Road to westbound U.S. 6/20 to southbound Ohio 53.

The Westbound/southbound U.S. 6 from U.S. 20 to Muskellunge Creek Road will be closed now through Thursday, June 9. the detour will be continue west on U.S. 20 to Ohio 590 to U.S. 6.

U.S. 6 between CR 128 and Brush Street will experience lane restrictions for U.S. 6/20/State Street interchange configurations. Lane width will be reduced to 11 feet at various locations in each direction.

Ohio 19 to be closed until August

BOWLING GREEN — The Ohio Department of Transportation, District II, reported Ohio 19 between TR 127 and TR 83 in Fremont will be closed for two culvert replacements now through early August. The detour is U.S. 20 to Ohio 590 to Ohio 105.

Clyde eyes sewer plant, Main Street improvements

CLYDE — Clyde City Council will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday June 7 in the council chambers of the municipal building.

On the agenda is a first reading ordinance to allow the city manager to advertise for bids for a screw pump for the wastewater treatment plant improvement project and declaring an emergency.

There is also a resolution for the city manager to contract with Great Lakes Demolition Company, Vickery, for the demolition and reconstruction of the north approach at the intersection of U.S. 20 and Ohio 510 (Main Street).

Ottawa County elections board continues audit

OAK HARBOR — The Ottawa County Board of Elections is meeting at 1 p.m. Wednesday to continue conducting the postelection audit of the 2022 Primary Election. The meeting will be held at the Board of Elections office located at 8444 W. Ohio 163 in the Veterans Memorial Building.

BCS board to meet, break ground on middle school

OAK HARBOR — The Benton-Carroll-Salem School District will hold its regular meeting at 5:30 p.m. June 28.

The meeting will be held in the Board of Education Office, at 11685 W. Ohio 163. Prior to the Board Meeting the district will have the Ground Breaking for the new Oak Harbor Intermediate School at 5 p.m. behind R.C. Waters Elementary School.
