News briefs: Pizza Cottage opens second Lancaster location

LANCASTER – Pizza Cottage has opened its second Lancaster location at 1961 E Main Street.

Pizza Cottage was founded by Jack and Yvonne Gorham in Carroll, in 1972. In 2017, Larry Tipton, originally from Lancaster, purchased the Pizza Cottage restaurant group. Tipton also owns 10 Buffalo Wild Wings Grill and Bar® locations in Ohio and Arizona.

“Our first Lancaster restaurant is celebrating its 15th year, so it’s special that we can provide our customers with a second location on the opposite side of town,” said Chad Dawson, director of operations for Pizza Cottage. “This location will have dine-in, carry-out and delivery options for our customers who live or work on this side of town.”

“We are grateful that the Lancaster community has been supportive customers of our existing restaurant throughout the years, and we’re thrilled to bring them another convenient location to enjoy their favorite Pizza Cottage dishes,” said Tipton. “Lancaster is the perfect place to celebrate the opening of our 10th location.”

The restaurant is now open and fully operational with a dining room, drive thru, and delivery options through DoorDash.
