Senior>>Defender

On the pitch: In wins over Shaw and Fuchs Mizrachi, had four goals and four assists.

Off the pitch: Plans to attend Kent State and hopes to play soccer for the Golden Flashes. Her favorite memory of her senior season is scoring three "Olympic" goals. Says she fell in love with soccer at 6 years old and intends to always keep the game in her life. Enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching action movies and being adventurous. Favorite food is green pozole and tacos. Favorite team is Liga MX team Club León, from León, Guanajuato in Mexico.

Mentor>>Boys cross country

Senior

On the course: Took sixth overall in 16 minutes, 12 seconds at the GCC meet. Has consistently been in the low 16s.

Off the course: Will attend Stetson University and continue running cross country there. "My favorite memories are going on overnight trips with my teammates to meets and staying up all night playing card games." Hobbies include playing golf, traveling and trying new foods. Favorite subject is history. Enjoys hanging out with friends and having Sunday family dinners. Is a huge Guardians fan and tries to watch every game possible.

On the course: Finished seventh in 19 minutes, 28 seconds at the GCC meet, helping Mentor take second.

Off the course: Is in her fifth year running cross country. "I have enjoyed it so much and all the friends I've made. Some of my favorite memories are overnight trips with the team. My favorite was going to Virginia Beach for VA Showcase. I also loved getting to go to state both years for cross country." Favorite food is pasta. Favorite show is "Grey's Anatomy." Loves listening to music, and her favorite artist is Taylor Swift.

On the course: He placed sixth at the WRC conference meet in a personal-best 16:33

Off the course: "My favorite memory was running sub 17 for the first time at the Cloverleaf Invitational." Hobbies include running, cycling and playing video games. Favorite subject is math. Favorite foods are pizza and chicken.

Madison>>Girls soccer

Sophomore>>Striker

On the pitch: Scored five goals in three games, including game-winner in a 1-0 victory over Austintown-Fitch in a Division I sectional semifinal. It was her 20th goal of the season and 30th career varsity goal.

Off the pitch: Family and others call her "Mooster." Her favorite sports memory is scoring the game-winning goal against GlenOak in a sectional final last year as a freshman. Also enjoyed running track with her older sister. Enjoys playing "FIFA" with her younger sister, watching any soccer matches on TV and yearly vacations with her family.

On the court: Reached 1,000 assists for her career. Against Normandy, had six kills, 23 digs, 44 assists and four aces. Against Madison, had four kills, 11 digs, 27 assists and four aces. Against Riverside, had four kills, 14 digs, 13 assists and three aces.

Off the court: "My favorite volleyball memory is earning 1,000 assists in our last regular-season game this year. The atmosphere of my team rallying around me and being so happy for me was something I will never forget!" Hobbies include boating with her family, playing volleyball and hanging out with friends. Enjoys the music of Morgan Wallen. Favorite food is macaroni and cheese. Favorite subject is math.

Annabel Frieden

Chardon>>Volleyball

Senior>>Setter

On the court: In three matches, had 115 assists, 27 digs, four aces and eight kills. Team captain helped Chardon win WRC championship against Kenston.

Off the court: Will major in marine biology and small vessel operations and play volleyball at Maine Maritime Academy. "One of my favorite memories is being able to be on the first team in Chardon volleyball history to win districts. Outside of volleyball I enjoy paddle boarding and playing with my dog."

On the field: In a win over Kenston, was 15 of 21 for 262 yards and five touchdowns. Helped team clinch share of WRC title.

Off the field: "My favorite sports memory is beating Chardon for the first time in four years and ending the win streak when everyone didn't expect us to beat them." Hobbies include playing football, lifting weights and eating. Favorite subject is history. Favorite food is tacos. Favorite movie is "The Blind Side." Favorite music is rap. Favorite teams are Ohio State and Riverside.
