1 dead, 2 injured after crash in Pittsylvania County
PITTSYLVANIA COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — A man is dead and two people have been hospitalized after a crash in Pittsylvania County on May 5.
According to the Virginia State Police, the crash occurred just after 10:45 a.m. on Sunday at the intersection of West Sunrise Drive and Cross Stitch Road.

Troopers said 64-year-old Tommy Richard Terry, from Dry Folk, was driving a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado on Cross Stitch Road when he allegedly failed to yield the right-of-way while making a left turn. The Chevrolet was then hit by a 2004 Dodge Ram.
Terry died at the scene.
We’re told a passenger in the Chevrolet and the driver of the Dodge was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The crash remains under investigation; however, state police said no one was wearing a seatbelt.
