1 person injured after SUV drives into hair salon in Brookfield

BROOKFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) — One person was injured after an SUV drove through the front doors of a salon in Brookfield on Thursday.

At around 2:30 p.m., the Brookfield Volunteer Fire Department responded to Elevate Salon to find an SUV through the front door of the business. There was only one occupant in the car at the time. Crews worked to stabilize the vehicle and structure so that they could safely get out, and they were transported to Danbury Hospital for treatment.

The patrons of the salon were all evaluated by EMS and were uninjured.

The incident is still under investigation.
