1 person killed in crash involving motorcycle, vehicle in Northeast El Paso

UPDATE: Woodrow Bean/Transmountain has reopened at the crash site as of about 4:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 1, TxDOT said.

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — One person is dead after a collision involving a motorcycle and a vehicle in Northeast El Paso on Saturday night, Aug. 31, El Paso Police said.

The crash happend at about 7:30 p.m. at Bomarc Street and Woodrow Bean/Transmountain, police said. That is near Parkland High School.

Police did not say who was killed or what led up to the crash.

The Special Traffic Investigation Unit has responded to look into what led up to the crash. STI is called out for crashes involving a fatality or serious injuries.

TxDOT says Woodrow Bean/Transmountain West is closed before Dyer because of the crash. Backup is reported as minor. Clearing time is until further notice.
