We've shared posts in the past where people confessed some of the absolute worst scandals that happened at their schools.

Unfortunately, their experiences were very shocking, disturbing, and scarring.

In fact, their stories were so eye-opening that they inspired the BuzzFeed Community to share their own school scandal experiences.

So, here's what they had to say:

1."When I was 15, the vice principal was trying to physically yank an earring out of my friend’s ear. I went to stick up for my friend and tried to pull the VP off my friend. He turned around to me and attempted to restrain me in a nelson hold. I slipped to the floor out of the hold. While he stood over me, he raised his foot to stomp me! I looked up and saw an open locker, and I kicked it hard into his face. I guess it broke his nose. I jumped up, and my friends were egging me on, so I knocked the VP to the floor. To this day, when he encounters me at my grandkids' teacher conferences, he won’t make eye contact and stays away from me. Serves him right for abusing kids years ago."

2."When my mom was a teenager, she was known for her artistic skills. She had a really pretty girl in her class who everyone was in love with. Once, a math teacher (a man in his thirties) came over to my mom with a picture of that pretty girl and asked her to 'draw her for him.' My mom refused. Later, that teacher married another of his former students just after they graduated."

3."When I was in high school, two female teachers found out they were having an affair with the same younger man. The man was in his early twenties, so it was legal, but the teachers were both in their fifties and married. The day after they found out, one teacher asked to talk to the other one in the parking lot outside my homeroom classroom. They ended up in a fistfight in the parking lot during homeroom. All the kids in that room just watched and cheered them on. It was my English teacher that year, who I despised, and the art teacher who ran my homeroom. The principal found out, suspended them both, and ended up calling their husbands!"

4."Our high school gym teacher made us wear thin white sweatpants without underwear and stare up at us while we sat on the bleachers. He was notorious for dating underage girls, and one year, he married a girl right after she graduated. You would see them driving around in a pickup truck with the economics teacher sitting between them."

5."When I was in 8th grade, my history teacher was screaming at another student. I sneezed and he mistook it for me snickering. He came up and threw my desk across the room and into the wall before yelling in my face until I cried."

6."We had a kid in my class my senior year whose parents kicked him out halfway through the year. He was still going to our Catholic school because his parents paid for the whole year, but he was couch surfing with various classmates while trying to graduate. He’d already gotten into art school on a scholarship and was a great artist. He was 18 when his parents kicked him out. Well, after they kicked him out and found out he was still going to school, they called the school repeatedly, trying to get him expelled. They were making all kinds of claims and threatening to come to the school to have him drug tested. But he was 18, so they literally had no power over him anymore."

"We all started a petition to 'let [X] graduate.' He ended up graduating with the rest of our class thanks to our amazing principal, who protected him, and a classmate’s family, who took him in. No thanks to his absolutely shitty parents."

7."My high school was notorious for teachers sleeping with students (the female teachers did it more than the male ones). This high school was also the number one state in teenage pregnancy. They tried to cover up everything by giving most of the students in my school high test scores. So, yeah, a nice suburban school with nice test scores in a 'prestigious' school district...yeah, okay. Students all knew differently. Drugs, automatic weapons, and even explosives in kids' lockers were the norm."

8."A group of the so-called 'male popular jocks' at my school decided senior year to poke pinholes in all the free condoms that were in a basket available to students before prom. People found out, but nothing ever happened to any of them because they had rich parents and were future pro-athletes."

9."A teacher who identified as LGBTQ+ was fired and ended up getting a big settlement because of discrimination. It ended with our head teacher leaving because she was the person in charge of staffing and, therefore, responsible for the discrimination. The treatment of LGBTQ+ students was also extremely poor. It wasn't generally something you got bullied for by students, but instead by the staff."

10."In my Catholic high school, we had a set of twin boys. They were developmentally delayed, REALLY tall and big, and the older one had severe behavioral issues. Their school district paid my school to take them. They both got expelled after threatening to shoot the entire choir, including the choir director. They then showed up at a public performance near Christmas with another friend and walked back and forth while glaring at us. Not only did the choir director get a restraining order on them, but the principal, along with our bishop, got a restraining order on the two of them. They banned them from the school grounds, the convent next door, and any public event held by the school."

11."I’m originally from Scotland, and I moved to the US when I was nine years old. I went into 3rd grade at this small private school. I have learning disabilities, and on top of that, I was experiencing really bad depression and homesickness. I literally cried at school for WEEKS just because of how sad I was. I kept forgetting my homework either at home or I couldn’t complete it because I’d forgotten the necessary tools to do it at school. One day, I forgot my time tracker at school, so I couldn’t do my math homework. My mum wrote a note to my math teacher, and when she saw it, she came into my homeroom classroom and screamed at me in front of everyone."

"It was so bad that my language arts teacher next door could hear it and came in to comfort me as I sat there crying. Meanwhile, my homeroom teacher sat there and did nothing.

The yelling continued for at least 10 minutes. That day, my mum picked me up from school, and when she asked how my day had gone, I started crying and told her what happened.

My mum is a 'you know not to mess with her kids' kind of person — she goes into 'Mama Bear Mode!' She did an immediate u-turn back to the school and got the teacher fired."

12."I still remember being in 5th grade and being sent to the office because someone threw stuff whenever the teacher turned around. She thought it was me (it wasn’t) and sent me to the principal's office. When I got to the principal’s office the superintendent was also there (I think they were friends). The superintendent was ranting about being sick of 'you bastard kids.' He picked me up by my shirt and threw me into a filing cabinet. I remember him having a hold of my shirt and screaming again that I was a little bastard, and I felt his spit hitting me in the face. I was biting my lip and trying not to cry. He threatened to beat the shit out of me if I ever told anyone, so I didn’t. The principal (who I always liked before) apologized after the guy stormed out, but told me it was my fault for 'misbehaving.'"

"I always loved school before that, but then had a 'fuck it' attitude after that. School sucks sometimes 😑."

13."In the '90s at secondary school, a teacher brought a camcorder into school and taped the pretty bad behavior happening (the teachers were afraid of the kids). They recorded someone called The Phantom Crapper who would poop in the top drawer of the teacher's desk so that when the teacher would go to grab something out of said drawer, they'd get a handful of HUMAN poop. A TV program was done exposing us, and in the end the teacher lost her job."

14."I'm a Canadian high school student. My school is notorious for a lot of stuff, including a few kids murdering somebody and for getting swatted. However, before I came to my high school, there was a science teacher who would always have this student over in his classroom after school. Kids who were vaping behind the school always saw them together. The moment the student graduated, he and the student started publicly dating. I'm pretty sure he left his job before that because he knew what would follow."

15."I went to a Catholic high school in the early '90s. I found out not long after graduation that one of the nuns (a woman who still wore a habit and taught accounting) had been arrested for sexually molesting another nun. For a long time, I was able to find the news story for proof, but it was a very, very long ago."

16.And, "My elementary school had a part-time janitor who also worked at a funeral home preparing the deceased (embalming, dressing, etc.). He was found guilty of stealing from the bodies when a girl at my school noticed he was wearing her father's distinctive watch a week after he passed. An investigation also discovered he was engaging in necrophilia with the female bodies when a detective literally walked in on him."
