2 injured in shooting at Nashboro Village apartment complex

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — An investigation is underway after two people were shot at a Nashboro Village apartment complex Monday night.

The Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) responded to a shooting call at a complex along Village Green Drive just before 7 p.m. on Monday, July 8.

Authorities reported they arrived on scene to find one adult and one juvenile injured, though both were alert and talking.

Both were taken to area hospitals to be treated for non-life-threatening injures, police said.

At the scene, both victims allegedly told officers that they were shot in what they claimed to be a drive-by shooting, which involved an older black Mercedes sedan.

A family member reportedly witnessed the incident. No information about a suspect has been released.
