2 men killed, 1 injured in separate Brooklyn shootings 5 minutes apart: NYPD

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) – Two men were killed and one was injured in separate Brooklyn shootings on Sunday that were five minutes apart, according to the NYPD.

The first shooting happened on Flushing Avenue and Steuben Street around 10:45 p.m. A man in his 30s was killed after he was shot in the chest, according to authorities.

Two suspects are wanted in the shooting. One took off in a vehicle, per police.

The second shooting happened just two blocks away at 29 Ryerson St. around 10:50 p.m. A 47-year-old man was killed after he was shot multiple times and a man in his 40s was critically injured after he was shot in the head, according to authorities.

Police have not released a description of the suspects wanted in the second shooting.
