2024 Republican National Convention, Day 1: How to watch on TV, streaming

Monday marks the start of the 2024 Republican National Convention, four days of speeches from GOP superstars, fundraising events, movie screenings, protests, parties and more leading up to the selection of the Republican nominee for President of the United States, which will almost certainly be former President Donald Trump.
Trump is still expected to appear, days after an assassination attempt at his Pennsylvania rally Saturday left him wounded, one spectator killed and two others critically injured.
Here's what to know about the RNC:
When is the 2024 RNC?
The main programming of the RNC will take place from Monday, July 15 to Thursday, July 18. Aside from some get-togethers and breakfast meetings, the first official session begins at 12:45 p.m. in the Fiserv Forum.

Where can I stream the RNC?
The RNC is closed to all but delegates, politicians, media members and volunteers, but you can still watch a lot of it on various media platforms and streaming services. According to an RNC spokesperson, you can stream the RNC on the following channels:

Spectrum News will be hosting primetime specials recapping the day's events from 8-8:30 p.m. and again from 10-11:30 p.m. for Spectrum customers via the Spectrum News App on mobile, Xumo Stream Box, Roku and Apple TV streaming devices. PBS will have live coverage each night starting at 7 p.m., check your local channel for details.

Where is the 2024 RNC?
The 2024 RNC will take place in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The Fiserv Forum, home of the Milwaukee Bucks, will be the main venue for the RNC. There also will be events at the nearby University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Panther Arena and the Baird Center.
What is the RNC?
The Republican National Convention takes place every four years when thousands of GOP delegates and alternates from all 50 states and every U.S. territory gather to select the Republican nominee for President of the United States.
Who will be the Republican nominee for president?
Barring something unexpected, it will almost certainly be former President Donald Trump, although there will be some suspense at the event if he waits until then to announce his vice-presidential pick.
What else happens at the RNC?
The RNC will be four days of GOP leaders on stage firing up their audience there and around the country, plus fundraising, movie screenings, parties and more.
Florida governor and former GOP presidential hopeful Ron DeSantis is slated to address the convention, despite earlier reports he was not included. DeSantis is also scheduled to participate in a Moms for Liberty panel discussion and a breakfast with the Florida delegation.
