2Pac’s family lawyer is gearing up for an investigation into Diddy’s alleged involvement in the rapper’s murder.

TMZ reports that the estate has vowed to get to the bottom of Keefe D’s allegations that Diddy offered to pay him and his cohorts money to kill Pac in the 1990’s. Keefe D’s allegations arrived on Saturday (July 20) when prosecutors revealed that Sean Combs’ name appeared 77 times on the legal documentation presented in court, per The Sun.

Legal documentation recalls a number of interviews that Keefe D gave, including one in which D accused the Bad Boy founder of putting a hit out on Suge Knight and Pac. Documents also show that the cops asked if Combs “play[ed] a role in this thing?” to which Keefe responded, “Yeah, I think he did.”

A subsequent legal document shown in court included Davis, who was later tasked to work undercover for the LAPD, recalling Puffy contacting him about Pac’s death, detailing that Combs “reache[d] out wondering if the South Side Crips were responsible for Shakur’s death by asking, ‘Is that us?’ [Keefe D], beaming with pride, answer[ed], ‘Yes.’”

Now, Pac’s family attorneys, Alex Spiro, and Christopher Clore, along with investigators are digging deeper into these claims.

It should be noted that, as of publication of this article, Keefe D’s claims are unsubstantiated. However, Spiro and Clore are hoping that their investigation can lead to potential evidence that connects Combs directly to Pac’s death.

The outlet reports that Diddy allegedly putting out a hit on Pac will be the main focus of the estate’s private investigation. The legal team relayed to TMZ that they’re “confident” that they can dig up potential links, including all possible incriminating legal documentation.

If anything is found, the family plans to move to pursue criminal charges against Sean Combs.
