Accident south of Muskogee results in fatality
Sep. 4—One person was killed after a Wednesday afternoon vehicle accident, Muskogee County Emergency Medical Services confirmed.
EMS community relations officer Trish German said the accident occurred at U.S. 64 and 93rd Street and was reported at 2:41 p.m.
German said one person was declared dead, another was taken to a Tulsa hospital. A third person declined EMS assistance, she said.
Muskogee County Sheriff Andy Simmons said the accident involved a truck and a tractor.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the accident, an OHP officer said.
