Lane County commissioners are scheduled to hold a public hearing where they will revisit the land-use approval of the 'eco-village' Lost Valley Education Center on Tuesday, as well as hold public hearings on Lane County recreational immunity and roads, and Springfield parks and housing.

MORNING SESSION

When: 9 a.m., Tuesday, July 30.

What: County commissioners are scheduled to hear public comment, vote on a labor contract with their Parole & Probation officers, hold a public hearing and vote on re-approving the land-use application for the Lost Valley Center, vote on the county's priorities for the 2025 legislative session, and on accepting a grant for the Alderwood Looped Power Transmission project planned near Junction City.

AFTERNOON SESSION

When: 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 25.

What: Commissioners are scheduled to hold public hearings and possibly vote on:

  • Restoring recreational immunity in Lane County.

  • Changes to the part of Lane County's code outlining road standards.

  • Approving Willamalane's new Park and Recreation Comprehensive Plan.

  • Allowing housing in commercial parts of Springfield.
