A grand baby shower of Aishwarya Rai was conducted by the Bachchan family on Tuesday welcoming the to-be-born baby Bachchan.
Bachchan residence was teeming with number of celebrities from the industry. B-town's sizzling ladies - from moms, grandmoms, veteran actresses like Saira Banu, Dimple Kapadia, Asha Parekh, Poonam Sinha to glam mom brigade like Gauri Khan, Twinkle Khanna, Neelam, Manyata Dutt, Sonali Bendre, Kajol to designers Neeta Lulla, Anna Singh, Shaina NC to choreographer Saroj Khan all were there to give their blessings and best wishes to the Bachchan family.
Mom-in-law Jaya Bachchan and Sister-in-law were the joyous hosts, who personally received the guests. It is being said that the whole function was planned by Jaya. Hubby and would-be father Abhishek Bachchan's joy knew no bounds, who was dressed in a white kurta.
However, Aishwarya Rai, the lady of the moment, did not step out for the photographers, but she is believed to have donned an orange-coloured traditional dress and was looking gorgeous as ever.
The former beauty queen Aishwarya, who is married to Abhishek Bachchan, is expecting her first child next month.
Other guests who made it to the baby shower ceremony include filmmaker Karan Johar with Hiroo Johar, Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla, Bipasha Basu, Urmila Matondkar, etc also joined in the celebration.
