Allegiant launches 2 new nonstop flights from St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Allegiant is launching two new nonstop flights from St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport this week.

The airline will start taking travelers to Evansville, Indiana, and McAllen, Texas. Allegiant said one-way tickets will start at $41 for a limited time.

“We are excited to launch the only nonstop service between PIE and these two markets,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant’s chief revenue officer. “Florida continues to prove itself as a top destination for leisure travelers. We expect customers will enjoy our unique brand of travel: affordable, all nonstop flights without the hassle of layovers or connections.”

The new flights will operate twice weekly.
