Arbor Networks Expanding in Three Cities, Moving Headquarters

CHELMSFORD, MA--(Marketwire -08/08/12)- Arbor Networks, Inc., a leading provider of network security and management solutions for enterprise and service provider networks, today announced that it is expanding its research, development and engineering facilities in Ann Arbor, Michigan and Atlanta, Georgia as well as moving its corporate headquarters location to Burlington, Massachusetts.

Arbor is expanding facilities as well as hiring aggressively at all three locations in order to meet demand for its products that protect corporate and service provider networks from availability threats, specifically, distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks. DDoS attacks are one of the primary threats to the availability of enterprise networks as well as to the adoption of cloud computing services.

World Leader in DDoS Mitigation
Arbor Networks customers include the vast majority of the world's ISPs and many of the largest enterprise networks in use today. According to a recent report from Infonetics Research titled, DDoS Prevention Appliance Market Outlook, Arbor Networks was cited as top supplier of DDoS prevention solutions overall as well as in the Carrier, Enterprise, Mobile and Government market segments.

Ann Arbor R&D Expansion
Arbor Networks was founded as the result of groundbreaking research conducted at the University of Michigan. With funding from a DARPA grant, the technology was later commercialized and Arbor Networks was formed in 2000. The company maintains an excellent collaborative relationship with the University of Michigan's School of Engineering and continues to invest in the Ann Arbor location at 2727 South State Street. Arbor has recently expanded the Ann Arbor research and development center, adding 10,000 feet of office space and 1,200 feet of lab and data center space. The expansion is devoted to providing additional capacity for product development teams, while the lab expansion adds significantly to Arbor's ability to build and test large-scale solutions for our customers.

In Ann Arbor, the company is seeking to fill full-time positions in the following areas: Project Management, Product Development, Tools Development, Security Analysis and Quality Assurance. In addition, Arbor has an ongoing summer intern program with the University of Michigan and will be on campus doing both intern and full-time recruiting in the fall of 2012.

New Atlanta Office Location
In Atlanta, Georgia, Arbor recently opened an office at 1050 Crown Pointe Parkway, Suite 190. In Atlanta, the company is seeking to fill full-time positions in the following areas: Product Development, Product Management, Product QA and Security Research.

New Corporate Headquarters
Finally, this fall, Arbor will be moving its corporate headquarters location to 76 Blanchard Road in Burlington, MA. The move enables Arbor to custom-build an office setting that meets the needs of finance and administration staff as well as engineering teams and associated lab requirements. The central location, convenient to shopping, dining and RT-128/I-93/RT-3, also makes Burlington an attractive location. At corporate headquarters, the company is seeking to fill full-time positions in the following areas: Finance and Accounting, Marketing Communications, Legal and Engineering.
