Arkansas Children’s Hospital celebrates donor’s generosity
LITTLE ROCK, Ark.- Arkansas Children’s Hospital has received a very generous gift.
Lynn and Don Parker, along with their kids, donated $2 million to the hospital’s expansion project.
Along with that donation, the Parkers also committed to donating $1 million to the ACH clinic in Jonesboro, where the family lives.
The family said they are wanting to make an impact on improving and saving lives, which they say is personal because the Parker’s children have all been patients at ACH.
Lynn Parker is also a member of the Arkansas Children’s Foundation.
“With this expansion, this historic expansion, it will make it easier,” Lynn said. “Families are already stressed, let’s make it easier.”
The mother of an ACH patient, Stacey Dvorak, said she is grateful to hear of the donation.
“Knowing there’s a brighter future for children, like both of my sons, is on the horizon,” Dvorak said. “As a Mom, I can’t help but feel eternally grateful for the generosity.”
