Arkansas governor says God saved Trump

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders delivered remarks at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee on Tuesday.

Sanders started her speech about how proud she has been to stand with former President Trump. She said she has never been more proud to stand with him than “right now.”

Not even an assassin’s bullet can stop him. God Almighty intervened, because America is one nation under God and he is certaintly not finished with President Trump.

Sanders continued her speech by speaking highly of Trump and the differences between the Biden administration and Trump. She even made a joke about Jill Biden.

Her speech also mentioned the struggles she faced from being denied restaurant service, being insulted and having her car spat on.

“It was President Trump who defended me,” she said.

Sanders is the first female governor of Arkansas. She is a mom of three and America’s youngest governor.

During her term, she changed the Freedom of Information Act in Arkansas to limit the public’s knowledge of her security, changed Arkansas education, limited abortion rights and brought in lithium drilling.

The convention is set to continue until Thursday.
