A suspect in three homicides in Oklahoma and one in Alabama was arrested Thursday, authorities said.

Stacy Lee Drake, 50, was taken into custody without incident about 10 a.m. in a wooded area south of an intersection in Morrilton, Arkansas, according to the Arkansas Department of Public Safety.

He had been identified as being from Birmingham, Alabama, and was described as armed and dangerous.

He was accused in a murder charge Thursday of fatally shooting two employees of LaFerry's Propane near Gans, Oklahoma. The victims were identified as Tara Underwood and Taylor Sharp.

He also is accused of taking Underwood's 2016 GMC Acadia after the double shooting Tuesday afternoon. Surveillance video shows him driving away in the vehicle after exiting the business, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation reported in a court affidavit.

The charge was filed in Sequoyah County District Court.

Underwood's fiance discovered the shooting and notified a sheriff's deputy, according to the affidavit. The OSBI reported Sequoyah County sheriff's deputies responded to the business about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Investigators used OnStar to locate the vehicle at a Motel 6 in Morrilton, about 130 miles away, according to the affidavit.

"This senseless and violent act is truly heartbreaking,” Sequoyah County District Attorney Jack Thorp said. "These victims and their loved ones deserve justice, and we will fight to see that done."

Drake also is suspected of killing an El Reno man June 14 for a vehicle, authorities confirmed. Police in El Reno identified the victim as Phillip Emerson, 56, according to the El Reno Tribune.

In Alabama, he is suspected of killing Alcoholics Anonymous counselor Russell Andrews, 62, on or about May 14, NBC News reported.
