Attachmate Plans to Move Headquarters From Seattle's West Lake Union to Union Station

Focuses on an Open, Energetic Environment for Employees to Enhance Creativity and Collaboration

SEATTLE, WA--(Marketwire - Sep 25, 2012) - Attachmate Corporation today announced plans to move its headquarters in the first quarter of 2013 from its current location in Seattle's West Lake Union to the Union Station complex located near the International District, Pioneer Square, Safeco Field and CenturyLink Field. After inhabiting its existing headquarters for nearly 20 years, the company recently signed a lease for space in Seattle's Union Station building. The new location provides numerous options for mass transit, easy access to highways and major thoroughfares, SeaTac Airport, restaurants, hotels and other amenities.

Approximately 250 Attachmate employees will be affected by the move, which is estimated to begin in the first quarter of 2013. The new Attachmate headquarters will be located at 705 Union Station -- 705 5th Ave S., Seattle, WA, 98104.
