Attacker sought in Victorville shooting

A man was wounded following a shooting a residential neighborhood in Victorville on Friday afternoon, officials said.

The gunfire was first reported about 3:25 p.m. in the area of Mesa View Drive and Forest Park Lane, San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department officials said.

Responding deputies encountered the victim inside a vehicle, suffering from at least one gunshot wound, according to sheriff's department spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez.

"Multiple unidentified involved parties are outstanding and the investigation is ongoing," she said.

No further details were available Friday afternoon.
