ATV driver dies in Marion County crash, highway patrol says

MARION COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — An ATV driver was killed Sunday night in a crash in Marion County, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

It happened at about 9:10 p.m. near Highway 41 and E. Legette Road when the person’s ATV overturned after sideswiping another ATV that was stopped partially in the road, Master Trooper Gary Miller said. The driver of the ATV that was sideswiped was not hurt.

No additional information was immediately available. The highway patrol is investigating.
