In one month, will Barron Trump have moved from Mar-a-Lago to a college dorm?

Barron Trump, the sole child of Donald and Melania Trump, is headed to university this fall — but neither of his parents have revealed where Barron would seek his college degree.

In fact, the youngest son of former president Donald Trump has been keeping a low-profile: Barron Trump was the only Trump family member who did not make an appearance at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee last week. His mother, former first lady Melania Trump, has not delivered any speeches or made public appearances during her husband's campaign until last week − she did make a surprise appearance at the 2024 RNC, sitting in the Trump family box and appearing on stage alongside Donald Trump.

This week, thousands of parents are likely soaking up time with their class of 2024 grads before the new freshmen start their college career. Most move-in dates occur the week of Aug. 17 to 25 for fall 2024.

While it is not known where Barron Trump will attend classes in the fall, below are the move-in dates for universities he's been linked to as well as the major universities in Florida — just in case Barron Trump breaks tradition and decides to pursue college in the Sunshine State, where each of his family members lives.

What college will Barron Trump attend?

As of Monday, July 22, it has not been announced where Barron Trump will attend college, but going to university is his next step, his father, former president Donald Trump confirmed July 9, 2024, at a rally in Doral, Florida.

"He's now going to college, got into every college he wanted to," Donald Trump said of his youngest son. "He made his choice and he is a very good guy."

Barron Trump's half-siblings — Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump and Eric Trump (born to Donald Trump and Ivana Trump) and Tiffany Trump (born to Donald Trump and Marla Maples) — have ties to the University of Pennsylvania and Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.

When are college move-in dates for University of Pennsylvania?

Donald Trump graduated and studied at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Finance and Commerce, graduating in May 1968 with a bachelor's degree in economics. Donald Trump's eldest son, Donald Jr., graduated from UPenn in 2000. Like his father, Donald Trump Jr. has a bachelor's degree in economics from Wharton.

Donald Trump's eldest daughter, Ivanka Trump, was a student at the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown, but transferred after two years to the Wharton School of Business at UPenn. Ivanka Trump graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in economics from UPenn in 2004.

Like her father, Tiffany Trump attended UPenn and graduated in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in sociology. Four years later, Tiffany Trump graduated from Georgetown Law School as part of the class of 2020.

According to UPenn's calendar, "move-in" dates for fall 2024 are Monday, Aug. 19, to Sunday, Aug. 25, for new and returning students. "Guests" (usually parents and family) will have to be registered by Tuesday, Aug. 1, to accompany fall 2024 students on "move-in" day. New student orientation at UPenn will be from Aug. 21-26, with first day of classes Tuesday, Aug. 27.

When are college move-in dates for Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.?

Barron Trump's older brother Eric Trump graduated from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown in Washington, D.C., with a bachelor's degree in finance and management in 2006.

According to Georgetown University's calendar, arrival of new undergraduate students for fall 2024 will be Thursday and Friday, Aug. 22 and 23. Classes begin Wednesday, Aug. 28.

When are college move-in dates for New York University?

Another speculated possibility for Barron Trump is New York University. The NYU campus is not far from where Barron Trump spent much of his childhood, Trump Tower in Manhattan — and lived until his father was sworn in as the 45th president in early 2017. Barron Trump lived in the White House with his parents until 2019, when Donald and Melania Trump permanently relocated to Trump's private club, Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida.

Living on campus at NYU is optional, however, "first-year residents of Manhattan-based schools are assigned to Manhattan residence halls only. There are no exceptions," the university's site states. College move-in dates for NYU, which has its own NYU housing handle on Instagram, are Aug. 24 and 25, 2024. More than "5,000 first-year students will arrive at NYU's campus!" an April 11 IG post states.

According to NYU's calendar, fall 2024 classes begin Tuesday, Sept. 3, the day after Labor Day.

When are college move-in dates for Florida universities?

While it's unlikely Barron Trump will attend college in Florida, below is a list of move-in dates for the major universities here, according to their respective calendars:

Florida State University: Friday, Aug. 16, 2024

University of Central Florida: Thursday through Saturday, Aug. 15-17, 2024

University of Florida: Thursday through Saturday, Aug. 15-17, 2024

University of Miami: Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 12 and 13, 2024

University of North Florida: Friday, Aug. 16, 2024

University of South Florida: Thursday, Aug. 22, 2024
