Need a beer during Enshrinement Week? Here's where you can get brews made in Stark County
Football and beer are a classic combination. This relationship dates back to the early 20th century when breweries began sponsoring sporting events and beer was just beginning to become a major sponsor for various professional sports leagues.
Sharing a drink with friends and fellow supporters is a deeply rooted tradition in football culture. During the Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Week, we suggest celebrating the Class of 2024 by indulging in a locally made craft beer.
Stark County’s breweries offer something special for everyone and an opportunity to raise a glass to the enshrinees and local craftsmanship. Here's a rundown of every local brewery:
Aeonian Brewing Co.
120 W Chestnut St., Alliance
Brewing a variety of craft beers with taps changing regularly, Aeonian currently features on tap Summer Illusion (hefeweizen), Aeonian Light (lager), Norwegian Two Step (double IPA) and others.

The Brew Kettle Canton & Topgolf Swing Suites
2018 Champions Gateway Suite 101, Canton
With locations in Hudson, Middleburg Heights, Mentor and Strongsville, this Hall of Fame Village Brew Kettle location features on tap White Rajah (IPA), Los Colores (Mexican-style lager), Dark Helmet (imperial schwarzbier) and others, with a patio that overlooks the Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium.
Codex Brewing
6305 Whipple Ave. NW, Jackson Township
The brewery offers Cult Fiction (New England-style IPA), Pizza the Beer (herb and spice lager) and Nineteen Eighty Pour (extra special bitter). Codex also pours a North Canton Hard Seltzer and a Berry Sangria Hard Seltzer. There's also a drive-thru beer pickup window available during all taproom hours.
Fat Head’s Brewery
3885 Everhard Road NW, Plain Township
With locations in Middleburg Heights, North Olmsted and the Canton area, this brewery continues its impressive showing at major competitions by taking home three medals at the most recent World Beer Cup. Sip Head Hunter, its award-winning IPA, or try Benjamin Danklin — a lightning bolt of lupulin.
Maize Valley Winery & Craft Brewery
6193 Edison St. NE, Marlboro Township
Stark County’s first craft brewery, Maize Valley’s tap handles are constantly changing with beers available by the sample, glass or growler. This family owned restaurant, winery, craft brewery, farm market and agritourism business has become a "must visit" destination.
Muskellunge Brewing Co.
425 5th St. NW, Canton
Located in the Arts District in downtown Canton, this brewery has won eight medals since 2020 in the U.S. Open Beer Championship and in 2023 won a gold medal for its seasonal Pumpkinseed Pumpkin Spiced Ale. From the tap, enjoy Creek Chub Mango Gose (fruit gose) or a Rainbow Trout Coffee Blonde made in collaboration with Carpe Diem Coffee Shop in downtown Canton.
New Berlin Brewing Co.
1664 N. Main St., North Canton
Featuring modern German food and craft beers named after residents, locales and events from the history of New Berlin (now North Canton), try a Hensey’s Honeyed Ale, popular NoCaHi (orange creamsicle hazy IPA) or Ernie’s Easy Rider (radler).
Paradigm Shift Craft Brewery
128 North Ave. NE, Massillon
Current handcrafted beers on tap include Botanical Blush (farmhouse ale), Hall-N-Oats (stout) and Raunch N’ Roll (smoke beer). Paradigm Shift Massillon’s first craft brewery, invites you to switch from big box breweries and enjoy a smaller, hometown product.
Royal Docks Brewing Co.

Foeder House & Kitchen, 2668 Easton St. NE, Plain Township
Royal Docks, which carries an English pub theme, is the largest Stark County-based brewery. In addition to its taprooms, it runs a production brewery in Jackson Township. Taproom beers include Pendragon Welsh RareWit, Vlad the Impaler and a London Signature Extra.
Sandy Springs Brewing Co.
232 N Market St., Minerva
This brewery also offers a studio suite next door to the taproom for overnight stays, and The Century Home at Sandy Springs Brewing Co., boasting three bedrooms and two and a half baths, for rent. Order a tasty bite at the brewery while sipping on a BH3 (Vienna lager), Blackberry Cobbler (sour ale with blackberry puree) or a Sandy Lite (American light lager).
77 Brew House
21 Canal St., Navarre
The 77 Brew House was started by a few homebrewers and friends who all shared not only a passion for craft beer but the same birth year (1977), and initially began brewing with the 330 Brewing Co-op in Akron. The current draft list includes Brimstone (honey chocolate porter), Erie Valley Haze (dry-hopped hazy IPA) and Anoroc (Mexican-style lager).
UnHitched Brewing Co.
115 S Mill St., Louisville
Known for brewing rustic, under-manipulated beers with 100% of their beer ingredients grown and processed in the Midwest within a 400-mile radius of the taproom. Sip on a Painted in Vermilion (red ale), East Bank (altbier) or a Drayman’s (bitter).

Newly opened as part of the Fourth Street Collective in downtown Canton, this second offering of UnHitched Brewing located inside Deli Ohio features distinctive lagers, saisons and sour beers with a focus on the creation of wood fermented beers.
