Blockbuster to move headquarters to Colorado

DENVER (AP) — Blockbuster is moving its worldwide headquarters from McKinney, Texas, to Douglas County, Colorado.

The satellite television provider Dish Network Corp., which bought Blockbuster almost a year ago, also is based in Colorado. Dish said Monday that Blockbuster's move will bring more than 150 management positions to the Denver area over the next five years.

Gov. John Hickenlooper says Dish already employs nearly 5,000 people along the Front Range in Colorado.
