Bob Menendez is NJ's latest crooked politician. Are we really surprised?

Regarding "He's just another crooked Hudson County politician," NorthJersey.com July 17:

Limiting crooked politicians to Hudson County is nearsighted. Donald Trump does not claim Hudson County as his home. Any politician, anywhere, is exposed to graft, or even "just doing a favor for a friend."

Since Sen. Bob Menendez is a first-time felon it will be interesting to see how he is rewarded. Trump had 34 state counts and we await his sentencing also. State felonies and federal felonies have different rewards.
