Boone County Commission will take some meetings on the road. What to know

The Boone County Commission is taking its select meetings on the road.

The purpose of the traveling meeting schedule is to increase visibility the work of county government across the entire county. Several of the meetings will include American Rescue Plan Act award presentations.

The summer and fall tour kicked off last month and continues through October. All meetings start at 1:30 p.m. Future traveling meetings are:

  • Aug. 1, Centralia City Hall, 114 S. Rollins St. in Centralia;

  • Aug. 29, American Legion, 25 S. Second St. in Hartsburg;

  • Sept. 26, Rocheport Community Hall, 503 Third St. in Rocheport;

  • Oct. 3, Hallsville City Hall, 202 Missouri Highway 124 in Hallsville;

  • Oct. 10, Ashland City Hall, 101 W. Broadway in Ashland; and

  • Oct. 24, Centralia City Hall.
