The Boys & Girls Club of Portage County appointed a new CEO. Meet Danielle Belsky.
STEVENS POINT – The Boys & Girls Club of Portage County appointed its new CEO.
According to a press release from the Boys & Girls Club of Portage County, the board of directors unanimously appointed Danielle Belsky as the new CEO at the group’s meeting Monday, effective immediately.
Belsky held several roles over the last 15 years at the Boys & Girls Club of Portage County, most recently serving for 10 years as the director of operations, according to the release. In 2020, the organization awarded her the Anne G. Schierl Above & Beyond Award for her quick response to meet the needs of the children and teens at the Boys & Girls Club of Portage County, as well as the positive culture she builds within the organization. In her time with the Boys & Girls Club of Portage County, Belsky worked with every part of the organization, including fundraising, public relations and membership growth. She has also worked with board members and has led staff training, programming and more.
In the organization's release, Belsky said she is thankful for the support of the community and Boys & Girls Club families, staff and board of directors.
“Looking to the future, we will continue to do whatever it takes to meet the needs of our Club members and their families,” Belsky said.
Meg Erler, the board president, said Belsky has proven herself as a leader and champion for the organization, and the board is delighted to announce her new role.
“We know she will continue to focus on what is most important for our members and our families moving forward,” Erler said.
Belsky will work closely with the outgoing CEO, Kevin Quevillon, as he transitions to his new role as the director of organizational development for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America for the Midwest region, providing support services to clubs throughout the state.
