Right westbound lane on SR 188 in Arizona reopens after brush fire
The westbound lanes of State Route 188 were closed Thursday afternoon due to a brush fire, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
At 3:50 p.m., ADOT reported the closure south of Roosevelt, near the SR 188 and State Route 288 junction.
Just after 7 p.m., the left lanes of westbound SR 188 reopened, but the right lane remained closed with no estimated time for reopening, according to ADOT.
At about 9:10 p.m., all lanes of northbound SR 188 had reopened, according to ADOT.
It was unknown how much acreage the fire had burned.
This is a developing story; return to azcentral for updates.
