Bush Makes Appearance at Romney Headquarters

Former President George W. Bush and his wife, Laura, made an appearance at Mitt Romney's campaign headquarters in Boston on Tuesday morning, ABC News reported.

Ann Romney introduced the former president and first lady to the staff. He complimented the campaign and encouraged them "to seize the moment."

Romney was not present because he was preparing to speak at the Veterans of Foreign Wars convention in Reno, Nev.

Bush has not been a large presence in the Romney campaign since in May he told an ABC reporter as an elevator door closed in front of him in Washington, “I’m for Mitt Romney.” He will not be attending the Republican National Convention later this summer.

While in Boston, the Bushes also visited a charter school, and the former president spoke at the Global Business Travel Association's annual conference.
