BMW is recalling more than 105,000 vehicles because of a starter issue, according to a release from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
The BMW recall is one of a number released on Monday. For a full list of recalls or to see if your car is included, check the NHTSA website.
BMW starter issues force recall
BMW is recalling 105,588 vehicles because the starter motor fails, repeated attempts to start the vehicle can cause the starter motor to overheat from an electrical overload.

2020 3 Series Sedan
2020 X6
2020-2021 7 Series Sedan
2020 8 Series Convertible
2020 8 Series Coupe
2020 8 Series Gran Coupe

Hyundai recalls cars for brake light issues
Hyundai is recalling 38,331 2024 Hyundai Sonata vehicles. The software for the brake lights may cause the brake lights to flash and not illuminate properly.
Dealers will update the rear brake light software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on Oct. 5, 2024. Owners may contact Hyundai customer service at 1-855-371-9460. Hyundai's number for this recall is 267.
Hyundai Motor America is also recalling 1,488 Genesis 2024-2025 GV60 hybrid and 2025 GV80 vehicles. The rearview camera display may shut off when the vehicle is driven in reverse.

Toyota recalls vehicles for tire issues
Gulf States Toyota, Inc. (GST) is recalling 33,848 vehicles equipped with GST accessories. The load-carrying capacity modification label may display inaccurate added weight values. A vehicle with an incorrect maximum capacity weight value may be overloaded, which can increase the risk of a crash.

Chrysler is recalling 2,852 2023 Dodge Challenger vehicles. The left rear seat back may not lock in the upright position.
