2 dead in crash in NB I5 after vehicle rollover near Lebec Service Rd
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Two women are dead after a single-vehicle rollover crash on Interstate 5 near Lebec Service Road on Saturday, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Officers with the highway patrol were dispatched to the area at about 12:25 p.m. for a report of the crash.

Investigation showed a 2016 Hyundai left the roadway and overturned and landed on its roof. A 70-year-old woman passenger, of Fresno, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Three occupants, all of Fresno, were flown to Henry May Memorial Hospital. At the hospital, a 67-year-old female passenger was pronounced dead.

Two people involved are still in the hospital, according to CHP.
Officers say the two decedents were not wearing seatbelts.
The crash is under investigation. it is unknown if alcohol or drugs were involved in the crash.
An initial report said the vehicle involved was a white Toyota Prius.
