Lt. Gov. Mike Kehoe announced Friday that his campaign for Missouri governor has raised more than than $4.5 million in the past three months.

In the second fundraising quarter of 2024 — April 1 through June 30 — his campaign committee, Citizens to Elect Mike Kehoe, and the separate American Dream PAC raised additional funds and now have a combined $6.2 million in cash available going into the final weeks of the Aug. 6 primary.

“Missourians are continuing to invest in Mike Kehoe because he is the only law and order, tax-cutting conservative with the character and leadership necessary to lead Missouri forward,” said Derek Coats, Kehoe campaign manager, in a Friday release.

“Mike Kehoe is outworking every candidate in this race, and Missouri conservatives have responded with overwhelming financial and grassroots support. Our campaign has the momentum and the resources to communicate Mike’s conservative vision for Missouri as our next governor.”

Kehoe is one of nine candidates in the Republican gubernatorial primary. His campaign has raised the most in the past.

As of Friday afternoon, July quarterly reports for other top fundraising candidates — state Sen. Bill Eigel and Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft — had not yet been filed. The deadline is July 15.

Other candidates in that primary include Darren Grant, Jeremy Gundel, Darrell Leon McClanahan III, Robert James Olson, Amber Thomsen and Chris Wright.

The Citizens for Mike Kehoe reported more than $900,000 in contributions for the past quarter. A couple dozen of the donors were from Springfield including Hal Higdon, Matt Morrow, Bryan Magers, Douglas Neff, Jim Ferguson and Paul Alexander.

The American Dream PAC supporting Kehoe reported more than $3.6 million in the past quarter.

In the Democratic primary for governor, the candidates include Sheryl Gladney, Mike Hamra, Hollis Laster, Eric Morrison, and Crystal Quade.

The campaigns for Hamra and Quade, both from Springfield, have raised the most in that contest but neither had filed July quarterly reports, due July 15, as of Friday afternoon.
