Here’s what we know about the death of the horse named Ice.

The horse was used by the Cape May Carriage Company.

Company owner Chantel Semanchik said Ice collapsed twice Thursday.

Weather was not believed to be a factor in Ice’s death because temperatures were cool along the shore Thursday night.

Semanchik believes Ice, who previously worked pulling carriages in New York City, had a heart attack.

A necropsy was to be conducted to figure out exactly what felled Ice.
