John Dickerson will anchor a live CBS New Sunday Morning special report from 9-10:30am ET, with CBS News 24/7 beginning coverage at 8am. Coverage will air on CBS and stream live on Paramount+.

Meanwhile, Savannah Guthrie and Willie Geist will also host a special edition of Today from 7-9am ET on NBC. Lester Holt is also leading NBC News coverage on Saturday night, which is simulcast on MSNBC, and into Sunday.

Following the shooting, which left the suspect and one other person dead, Trump’s campaign said in a statement that he is “fine and is being checked out at a local medical facility.”

According to CNN, the suspect has been identified as a 20-year-old man from an area nearby in Pennsylvania. His name has not yet been released.

Trump said in a statement that he was “shot with a bullet that pierced the upper part of my right ear,” adding on Truth Social that he “knew immediately that something was wrong in that I heard a whizzing sound, shots, and immediately felt the bullet ripping through the skin. Much bleeding took place, so I realized then what was happening.”
