Children’s pajamas found with human remains at a vacant Macon home. Investigation underway

The owner of a vacant home in Macon found human remains in the home’s crawl space Monday afternoon, according to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies arrived at the home, which is located in the 1600 block of Pio Nono Avenue, just after 1 p.m. and confirmed the remains were human. A small “Blue’s Clues” t-shirt and a pair of blue bandana pajama bottoms were discovered with the remains.

The sheriff’s office didn’t disclose the condition of the remains, and authorities were working to determine the identity and how long they had been in the crawl space. The remains will be sent to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation’s crime lab for analysis.
