Chillicothe drug bust turns up fentanyl, cocaine and guns

CHILLICOTHE, Ohio (WCMH) – The Chillicothe Police Department conducted a drug bust on Thursday, leading to one arrest.

According to a release from the department, officers searched a residence on North High Street, and seized 259 grams of cocaine and 103 grams of fentanyl. Police said they also found four firearms, cash and evidence that points toward drug trafficking activities.

Chillicothe police arrested Ronald Meadows, 52, for drug trafficking, possession of cocaine and a scheduled substance, and four counts of having weapons under disability. The department said additional felony charges are possible, pending lab results.

Multiple other drug arrests have taken place in Chillicothe this year, including three arrested in May after officers found crack cocaine, meth and fentanyl in their home.
