It's clear: A Trump-Vance administration will be disastrous for our environment

It is quite clear what will happen to the environment in a Trump/Vance administration. Efforts to deal with the severe impacts of climate change, as Biden has done, will be quickly reversed. Calling it the “Green New Scam,” Republicans think it is all unneeded. Despite siren calls from the U.N. and scientific groups around the world, the words “climate change” do not appear anywhere in the 2024 Republican platform. Instead, the language reads like an oil and gas industry lobbyist’s playbook with an emphasis on new drilling, reduced environmental restrictions and greater fossil fuel usage.

Donald Trump, himself, has long derided any need for reducing greenhouse gases. He remains hostile to environmental restrictions, energy efficiency incentives, and electric vehicles. If you vote the Republican ticket, we will get relaxed pollution laws, increased drilling, more greenhouse gases, and a rollback of green energy. Under Trump/Vance leadership, the truths about our planet will be ignored and commercial interests will prevail. No matter what your key issue, vote for our planet instead.
