Columbus man killed in motorcycle crash on Ohio 159 in Clearcreek Township
LANCASTER - The Lancaster Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a single motorcycle fatal crash that occurred at approximately 7:19 p.m. Friday, July 19, at approximately 7:19 on Ohio 159 near mile post 1, in Clearcreek Township in Fairfield County.
Warren E. Brewer Jr., 64, of Columbus was operating a 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle. Brewer was driving southbound on Ohio 159 when he drove off the right side of the roadway, struck a guardrail, and overturned onto its side when it came to final rest. Brewer was pronounced deceased on scene by the Fairfield County Coroner’s Office.
The crash is still under investigation by the Lancaster Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted on scene by the Clearcreek Township Fire/EMS, Amanda Township Fire Department, Saltcreek-Tarlton Fire Department, Fairfield County Sheriff's Office, and the Fairfield County Coroner’s Office.
