Commerce Casino to Host IMG's 2012 "The MET-Rx World's Strongest Man" Competition
NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - Sep 19, 2012) - In its 35th year as the premier televised event in strength athletics, "The MET-Rx World's Strongest Man" 2012 competition will be based at first-time host Commerce Casino in Commerce, CA.
"The MET-Rx World's Strongest Man" will be televised domestically on ESPN networks and internationally on five continents in more than 100 countries and territories. The series is owned and produced by IMG Media, the production and distribution arm of IMG -- the global sports, fashion and media company.

A total of six hours of programming will be produced from competition September 24 - October 1, 2012, on the Commerce Casino property and at famous and iconic locations in Los Angeles. The winner of "The MET-Rx World's Strongest Man" competition will be one of 30 competitors of international renown. Initial airings on ESPN and foreign television are projected for late 2012 and 2013.
