Connecticut closure planned for street work
Jul. 16—Joplin city officials said that Connecticut Avenue will be closed during the day Wednesday and Thursday to through-traffic from 32nd to 33rd Street for the installation of stormwater crossings beneath the street.
This work is occurring as part of the ongoing Connecticut Avenue widening project. If there is a weather delay, work will begin or resume when possible.
Access will be maintained for residents and businesses during the closure. Alternate routes are encouraged to be used during the work.
