Cracker Barrel starts largest menu test ever, bringing new items to these Texas locations

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store has launched the largest menu revamp test in the brand's history and will bring new products to select stores across the United States, including several in Texas.

For a limited time, from now through Aug. 5, guests at some Texas locations will be able to try about 20 new menu items. The test also involves adjusting some recipes to reduce complexities for employees, including that of the store's famed chicken n' dumplins.

"For nearly 55 years, guests have known and loved us for our authentic, homestyle cooking, and that's not going away, we've only added more flavor and crave to the menu and made it easier to navigate," Cammie Spillyards-Schaefer, senior vice president of operations, said in a news release.
